Hello, my name is Louise Latham and for the past 4 years I have worked with new parents and babies as an Antenatal Teacher which I really enjoy and which has given me lots of experience in supporting parents in the early days of parenthood.

My aim is to make the Baby Massage and FIrst Aid courses friendly, practical and informative so parents/carers can meet up in a relaxed atmosphere to massage their babies / learn first aid and share experiences and top tips. There are nice biscuits and lots of tea too!

My training with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) included both practical massage skills and evidence-based theory such as how babies bond and form attachments, infant reflexes and cues. The IAIM course is practised by over 8.000 teachers worlwide in 45 countries.

The IAIM was founded by Vimala McClure and her vision below is integral to the baby massage classes that I teach.

'I believe in supporting parents in their love for their infants. I believe that babies are aware human beings who deserve respect, tenderness, and warmth, and above all, a listening heart. When we listen to our infants with our hearts, we discover whatever it is that we want to know.

I believe that every parent, regardless of personal philosophy, and every infant, regardless of birth history or disposition, should have the opportunity to experience the lifelong benefits that come from early bonds that are loving, healthy and secure.’
